News!

In about a week, I'll be able to accept credit, debit, pre-paid or gift cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover logo right from my phone. Hopefully this will make the payment process a little easier for everyone.

You can read more about the service here if you have any questions.

Another rainy day...

...So here's a fun rainy-day photo to brighten it up a bit.

It was sprinkling when we took this, and about ten minutes later we found ourselves in a downpour.

Jennifer & Donnie

Today's shoot was expected to be fun-- Jenn is an old friend and I was looking forward to seeing her for the first time in years, and meeting her main squeeze. But it turned out even more fun than expected.

It's obvious these two are very suited for each other, and there was no shortage of laughter throughout the session.

Not even the rain could slow us down.

Under Construction

I apologize if things on the blog are a bit confusing and ever-changing... I am trying to find my perfect design for this page, and it's slow going.

I will continue to post, but beware that things may look different a few more times before I find a perfect fit.

Thanks for your patience!

Decisions, Decisions!

So you've decided you want a photo shoot-- now what?

Well, the next step would be to choose your favorite location. Here on the coast we have lots of options, and to help you take them all into consideration I have started working on a 'Location Guide' of sorts.

Located on my Facebook page there will be an album or two dedicated to helping you choose a location.

I'm using photos from my collection and identifying each with a card at the beginning of each location's section. I hope this will help those who have a hard time deciding.

I'm always willing to offer input, of course, but hopefully this will be a helpful step in identifying the best outdoor location for YOU.

Amanda & Marcus

Amanda is a very good friend of mine, and I was lucky enough to be able to get these photos for her and her husband, Marcus, while he was home on leave. Marcus is a soldier in the United States ARMY and as with all members of the service, I am extremely thankful for his sacrifice!

I am happy to say that Marcus has been safe at home for a while now and he and Amanda just welcomed their baby girl, Mia Amore, to the world a few days ago.

Looking at these pictures makes me sentimental; Mia was a dream that was sent up on many prayers and finally was answered, and I am so happy for them both.

Congratulations, Amanda & Marcus. Give that sweet baby girl some sugar from me!

Take two.

The first time I had the pleasure of photographing Adam & Emily, they were newly engaged.
That session had remained my favorite; That is, until recently when I got an email from Adam with a unique idea. They have been married for just under two years now, and wanted to put their wedding duds back on and take some pictures in Charleston, SC. I eagerly jumped on board, and the result was my NEW favorite shoot, which I'll share now. Enjoy!
